Though still looking for someone who maybe can do that certain bit of text (would send it to you). And while its not Dickens, its written buy a guy who wrote a sequel to Oliver Twist and he kept the way of how some of the characters talk that Dickens had. I would just like to hear how close I got it read correctly or if I read it wrong.

You can send it to me via PM or post it here if you want, I don't mind helping out since no one else has offered. I don't have a cockney accent since I was raised in North London, but I'll give you what I've got. I wouldn't go so far as to say I can do Dickensian "correctly" though. Plus, my accent my have a hint of the international itself, I'm not sure.
lolz - Ya get me.There are lots of examples of British accents on youtube. This one is funny...

It can be quite disconcerting to hear your own voice, played back.

That it can. Everybody I know tells my I have a baritone voice, but I sound somewhat higher to my own ears, and on tape I sound not only screechy, but whiny too.
You have a similar problem?
All right then, here you go... one line please.
