Looking ahead: Star Trek The DVD

Here's a hypothetical list of Special Features for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek:

- How The Future Begins: Pre-Production of Star Trek
- Redesigning the Future: The Look and Feel of Star Trek
- There Are Always Possibilities: The Cast and Crew
- A New Enterprise: The Visual Effects of Star Trek
- Two Spocks: Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Qinto
- The Doors go "Swoosh": The Music and Sounds of Star Trek
- Feature length commentaries:
--- Writers Orci and Kertzman
--- Producers and Director J. J. Abrams
--- Visual Effects Producers: ILM
--- Isolated Score and Commentary with Michael Giacchino
- Production Art Gallery

I doubt we'll get quite this much, but this is my "Dream DVD Feature Set", and would probably require 2 DVDs/Blu-Ray Disks.

Good list! I like your selection and I'd be happy with that as well, assuming we'd be so lucky that Paramount would pile that much material into the first release.

I love your list too, OneBuckFilms. I can especially seem them doing a special about the "Two Spocks", and in fact I'll be quite surprised if we don't get something like that! (This movie has the potential to be this Spock fangirl's dream come true! ;) I so hope they don't screw this up).

Commentary from the original crew about the characters they played and their approach. Commentary from the new crew about what they took from the originals and what they incorporated on their own.

A commentary by Levar Burton where he goes on and on about how fans really wanted a new TNG film.

Hopefully they will release the press event where the whole crew is at their stations, in costume, fielding questions from reporters. Chris Pine will forget Yelchin's name and introduce him simply as "the gentleman who portrays Chekov."

Or he could use the Shat's pronunciation and call him "the gentleman who portrays Mr. Jackoff." :p

A deleted scene with tits. No point to it. Just a simple, routine shot of Uhura at her station and then BAM! titties on the screen.
