Weeeeeell... You could have situations where two people are trying to do the same thing at two different stations because they don't know who's supposed to be doing what. Flexibility is great and all, but don't confuse bad writing with a presentation on how to make crew roles interchangeable. People still need to know what they're supposed to be doing, and task switching is expensive in any context.
