Literary Trek Experience

sbk1234

Rear Admiral
Rear Admiral
Khan quoted Moby Dick, as well as Picard.
I've read the book.

Kirk read and quoted A Tale of Two Cities.
I'm reading it now.

McCoy ran into Alice and the White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland.
I read it years ago.

I've read Sea Fever and Whales Weep Not, both quoted by Kirk.

MacBeth was presented to the crew in Conscience of the King - The title was also a quote from Hamlet.
I've seen productions of each.

The list can go on.

What classic literature mentioned in Trek have you personally read? Any discussion on the topic is also welcome.

While not "classic" literature, the TNG episode "The Royale" comes to mind. The episode takes place in the Hotel Royale, much of it in the casino. It's based on a bad book.

Then there is the book Casino Royale, written by Ian Fleming, partly set in the Hotel Royale, in the casino. It's a bad book.

Good topic! I've read Moby Dick and Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Can't think of any others at the moment.
