What were some of TREK(s) best one liners...from Kirk's "Here it comes" to Khan in TREK 2, or when Scotty tells the turbo to 'go up your shaft' in TREK 3....there have been some really good one liners in trek's storied history...what are some of the best???

I thought Data's "Ohhhhhhh shit" was pretty funny in Generations. Kirk's "double dumbass on you" was hillaroius in Trek 4....or when kirk bites into the apple and tells Saavik, in his sardonic way, "I don't like to lose". Those are just some of mine..what are of yours???

Obviously Everything else in the franchise has been leading up to that moment, or acting like a post-coital cigarette to it after the event.

I also quite liked Archer's "I said you're an ugly bastard!" to Silik in Shockwave part II. (There's something sexual about Trek swearing, admit it ).

I could list any number of Quark's and Odo's one-line retorts, but we'd be here a while.

It's not exactly a one liner, and I can't quote it line for line, but the one scene that always cracks me up is the one with Quark and Garek discussing Root Beer

Another one I like, and Shatner's subtle delivery sells it...it goes something like this...he/spock/gillian are in her truck...Kirk says..

Kirk "We can help you in ways you couldn't possibly imagine.."

Gillian "Or believe I bet"

Kirk "Very likely.."


I love how he delivers the 'very likely line" on top of hers. I didn't hear it when I first saw it in the theatres all those years ago, people were still laughing...but when I heard eventually, I just smiled...well done!!!

ed-as they are stealing the Enterprise from Spacedock and Kirk's asking Scotty about the airlock doors.

"Aye, Captain!" Such stress with a curious hint of "I am half-expecting you to take care of it" wrapped up in those 2 little words.
