Linda Park "Yolk" magazine pics: link to raw scans

Re: Heard on a farming colony

The only woman permitted even for a time to look normal was Troi.

"Normal" women. Ah yes, one of my favorite code words in the politically-tinged discussion of female body proportions. Do you know I once saw someone opine that Camryn Manheim was the only "normal" woman on TV? Too funny.

Are there bigger pics of those scans?

Not that I've seen. :(

But I have the magazine. :)

Re: Heard on a farming colony

I heard she got turn down for the "Third Rock From the Sun" series for the part of Big Giant Head.

Shatner, obviously, has the biggest one of them all. ;)

Sing it out voodoowoman! :)
What about a thread about how women are portrayed in Enterprise? I know I have more than a few comments. Around my place T'Pol is refered to as the Vulcan Camel Toe.

Here

Link's a 404.

Edit: Shite, balls, damnit.. I just noticed it's a 2 year old thread. I was running a search and that was one of the results, and I started reading the thread and then never even thought to check the date before replying.

Sorry for bumping this dinosaur. I guess it could be closed.

Ah, a blast from the past. There I am 2+ years ago, talking pretty much the same shit I do now. Oh, look, and there's Dorian Thompson (aka MoulinRouge, aka "Unregistered"), proving that she's an enjoyable sparring partner under any name. And there's Cogley, with the old snarky "big head" remarks. Hi, counselor!

The Yolk pics really are nice, BTW, and I was going to repost a good scan of the cover shot as a consolation prize until I noticed the rather appalling sig line of our thread reviver. Suddenly, my motivation to do any favors is shot. Oh well.

See you all in another couple years when this thread gets bumped again!

I think the link is broken.
Given the ancientness of the thread, that's to be expected.

Maybe a mod should close this.

But then how could it be bumped again in 2 years time?

Now that's the sort of thing that gets my respect.

She is looking much better on the show these days.

But she's still a bitch...
