Lightwave tutorial series?

I'm looking for a good series of Lightwave tutorials for the novice modeler. The ideal would be something that is to Lightwave what Andrew Kramer's Videocopilot.net is to After Effects. Anybody know of a hidden educational gold mine like that?

One place you might check is Foundation3D - they have a few tutorials there. You may also find some on YouTube.

Thanks Ptrope. I have since caved and purchased a relatively inexpensive training series. When I'm done with it, I'm sure Foundation 3D will be an excellent resource for me to build on the basics.

Might I ask which series you bought? I've done a couple of animation and rendering tutorials for people on YouTube, but I keep getting asked to do modeling tutorials and never know where to start. Might be easier referring them to the training you mention.

I bought Dan Ablan's LightWave 8 Signature Courseware. It had the advantages of being specific to the version of LightWave I have and being discounted on account of being for an old version. I'll let you know if I think it's any good or not.
