Lighthearted Confessions

To be honest, the absence of Trek in my life has made me less excited about it, and I have become seduced by more sophisticated fare such as LOST. [And "LazyTown" - someone]

LazyTown is AWESOME! :D I've never seen a more sinister, frightening show to encourage kids to be more active, or Captain Chin Putty will come and get them.

My confession is I actually found Telsia Murphy from the Elite Force games and Jenny from The Darkness quite hot.

I gave my friend the joypad for 10 minutes and went to get a drink. When I came back, Jenny was dead. I mention it now and then that it's his fault in a HA HA, KINDA JOKING BUT NOT REALLY! way. I don't think I've ever really forgiven him.

I'm pretty conservative and an outright prude about a lot of things. But get me in a club with a drink and some Kanye playing, and I practically dance like a stripper.

I try not to go to clubs too much.

Are those interesting to watch? I am a total transit addict. I love mass transit of all kinds - subways, light rail, the whole thing. You name the line, I'll ride it. That's often the first thing I do when I go to a city I've never visited before - try out its mass transit system. Trains rock! :techman:

oh yes pretty intreasting the company video 125 make them.
it's pretty intreasting when i see the stations when the films were made and compare them to now (theres a ten year gap). love the undergruond, mind you i dont need to use it every day which is probaly why.

^That's okay, along with the complete series of Cosmos, I have Richard Feynman's lecture on planetary movement on dvd -- and the accompanying book.

i'll probaly regret this but the planet moving dvd sounds intreasting may see if it's available in the uk used like astronomy when i was younger dont do it so much now maybe i should get back into it.

I learnt today that I'm directing two actual pretty well known actors tommorow for an excersise. And I at one point had a crush on the female one of the two actors :o

Pretty sure I'll be able to switch that off come game time, but still.

anyone we've heard of?

Most likely not, both are Swedish actors, and none have done international features IIRC. Sadly there doesn't seem to be any good images to be found trough google imagesearch of her so I can't really prove my point.

What's funny is that my friend K who's doing the same excersise just before me has a huge crush on the male actor. She's convinced that she's going to faint

Same here, haven't gotten to Blu-Ray though, but I'll get there at some point. Fantastic sound on the DVD DTS track though :D

Yeah, me too. And yes, that DTS track is truly awesome; crank the volume up and you can almost feel it when jets pass by. The "Jester's Dead" dogfight is a brilliant example of this. Probably the best soundtrack I've heard on a DVD.
Yeah, I can't push the subwoofer I have at the moment to proper volume during the movie since I fear I'll be evicted

 Yeah, I know what you mean.

My confession of the day: I failed in my attempt to make Ile Flottante yesterday.

Making the egg white islands was relatively easy, but my yolks scrambled when I added them to the hot milk that had been used for poaching the whites, instead of them blending in to become custard. :(

Ah well, more practice is clearly indicated. Next time, I'll let the milk cool more or add a little of the hot milk to the yolks to warm them up first.
