Lighthearted Confessions

Oh boy.. let's begin:

- years ago (about 15 or more) i built exact replicas of a Bath'leth out of wood with a friend.. awesome things

- i like some songs of popstars much.. Britney Spears, Aguilera, Miley Cyrus and watch them via Youtube (i'm 33 and male btw )

- i like to let out really big farts in my office when no one's around and giggle afterwards

- i picture almost all halfway attractive women naked (though that may not be a confession for a normal male ;))

I'm a big Star Trek fan ;)

I don't think I'm a Star Trek fan anymore. I mean, I'll still watch it if it's on TV and all, but I'm not nearly as fanatical about it as I used to be. :(
My inner trekkie is rather dormant nowadays (although it did take control with that recent Ent purchase). I watch Trek now and then, but I'm far from the fan I once was and I don't really miss it. Although I will see the new movie I can't say I'm really excited about it...

Despite my masculine user name, I'm a woman.

I'm also a lesbian. And, no, you can't watch.

But.... the big confession I have comes from my promotion eleven years ago to a supervisory positon at my job.

The extra pay meant I could get better clothes.

Being a supervisor meant I turned into a cast iron bitch to motivate this one employee I'm stuck with 'cause he's an uncle of one of the company owners; if he were anyone else he'd have been fired after the first week.

The side effect of all this was my sex life heated up... I picked up more girls in bars. Some lesbians get turned on by butch power dykes. I was astounded by the reactions I got from some of these girls if I gave a hint of disapproval; they would promise anything if only I would think higher of them.

My more dominating attitude was a hit when I went to fetish nightclubs ( though I suppose the leather corset and skirt didn't hurt ).

I didn't abuse my Power Dyke special abilities too much; my increased self confidence made a big difference in meeting women for relationships.

Ditto. I rewatched all of DS9 a few months ago, and while I enjoyed it, the whole thing felt a bit empty. That's a past part of my life. I need to focus more on the future.
To be honest, the absence of Trek in my life has made me less excited about it, and I have become seduced by more sophisticated fare such as LOST. [And "LazyTown" - someone] But of late I do tend to watch some of the Trek episodes on TV if they're on, and I do try and see the movies if they're on TV (including Nemesis which seems to be on Film4 every few weeks or so).

Maybe time is a good healer, and there may well still be some stirrings of my own inner Trekkie still there, waiting to emerge at the right time. When that time comes, I might give it another chance. :)

I have to admit, I have kinda enjoyed it when I've needed to fire people at work. There were only a couple that made me feel bad... the rest I took pleasure in.

During my senior year, I was a member of the board of my college radio station. I got a lot of shit that year from them, because for some reason they had decided I would be their scapegoat. I especially had issues with the big boss, a kid at least a year younger than me.

So late one night, when no one was around, my girlfriend and I used my key to get into the private board office and had...relations. In the big boss's chair.

:bolian:

Such wonderful confessions! I have one for this evening. I ate a piece of chocolate cheesecake and a small fresh fruit tart for dinner. :D

I once gave up pork while pursuing a woman who didn't eat anything pig-derived. And one day when it was obvious I stood no chance with her I had a half a pack of bacon for lunch.

I hope "tart" is slang for "hooker".

I once gave up pork while pursuing a woman who didn't eat anything pig-derived. And one day when it was obvious I stood no chance with her I had a half a pack of bacon for lunch.

That's the greatest thing I have ever heard.

Coincidentally, today's listing for the Stephen Colbert 2009 Desk Calendar has this "Dating Do" for the fairer sex...

"During the meal, order something that will get his attention, like a side of bacon for dessert.
I can't think of anything sexier."

My friends and colleagues thought I'd have no problems when I went to the US (first visit) many many years ago. "You'll have no problems over there, food, whatever, etc". I thought so too until I stepped foot in LA.

A few things that came to mind was ..

"What's that metalic smell???" when I stepped out of the airport.

The bewildering landscape ; I was used to tall buildings and everything was ... flat. :p

Driving on the left side ; I got a crick in the neck at the end of the day from the constant 180 degree safety checks everytime before I "take off"

My first look at the local cuisine ; my appetite fled. Just the size of the plate alone was intimidating, much less the food on it. I think I could list what I ate in that week : 1 Mars bar, 1 hotdog, 1 Chinese takeout, bread and water. I returned home a few kilos lighter, contrary to general expectation that I'll be heavier.

I should engage a security detail if I wanted to stop in the middle of the desert in LV to look at the stars. Nothing could be so distracting than to have a niggling imp that wriggle and shout of unknown dangers out there.

^Yeah there are some adjustments to be made when going to the US  I actually fared pretty well. Just had to get used to never ever ordering a bigger plate of something, or I'd never get finished. Didn't have the driving trouble since it's the same side as here. I did go kinda pale the first time I went out onto an interstate, but I was surprised at how smooth it went.

Some stuff freaked me out though, that the bread that I bought when I got there didn't go stale in the ten days I where there, and the sheer amount of commercial breaks on TV. Otherwise I loved it and will be going back when I have the chance.

I don't have a lot of confessions bit -

- I stopped taking my anti-depressant medication because I learned packets of sugar actually do the same damn thing. Who knows but I usually have a couple packets of sugar on me.

- I actually like all my silly adventures across the US. Most people already think I am a drifter that comes and goes but hell, if I am going to travel I am going to come back with some damn good stories.

- I liked the original Sailor Moon ^_^

- I still have the Ninja Turtle's Blimp in my room and I like collecting odd stuffed animals. Like my hedgehog Helios that comes with me to work.

I didn't do anywhere near as much revision for my driving theory test this morning, but still passed because it's 90% (at least) COMMON SENSE.

Whenever I'm sad or feeling emotionally fragile (which is not common, thankfully) I know just what to do in order to make myself feel better...

...listen to S club 7. It always puts me in a better mood. I guess there's something so lamely wonderful about their upbeat ultra-positive music that it's simply infectious. It's the equivalent to a nice hug.
