Lighthearted Confessions

We've all seen confession threads on message boards devolve from the interesting and mildly therapeutic to the morbid and frightening, so I thought the key to maintaining a confessions thread would be to make all those confessions lighthearted.

The idea came from a friend, who confessed something to me last night: a few months ago her boyfriend was throwing a party in their restored Victorian home. She had already gone up to bed, not feeling well, changed into her pajamas, and gone to sleep. Not to long after dozing off, she woke up having to pee. Their home has no bathroom upstairs, the party was raging downstairs, and she really, really didn't want to go down amidst the party-goers, so she peed in her cat's litter box! I thought it was the most hysterical thing I've heard in a while, and I want to hear more silly stories like it! So, do you annoy your pets when you're bored to get them to play with you? Do you eat mayonnaise by the spoonful? Have you laughed so hard you've peed your pants? Confess something lighthearted!

As for me, I love the Thai iced tea at the Thai restaurant that recently opened near my house, but I think the food is only mediocre. I'm sure they think I'm nuts because I recently ordered an appetizer of edamame and 4 Thai iced teas in order to meet the delivery minimum. I'd already had my homemade dinner, I just really wanted those teas!

I saw High School Musical on TV over the Chirstmas period... and liked it.
[Now comes the inevitable Zac Efron avatar... - everyone]

This is old news, but: I cried during the first Pokémon movie.

(specifically, the scene where Ash dies and Pikachu keeps trying to thunder shock him back to life. But it won't work, and Pikachu just sits there and starts to cry...and all the other Pokémon join in, and their tears bring Ash back to life. )

One of my favourite movies is Enchanted. I sing "How Will I Know?" in the shower

The Happy Working Song scene from that movie is brilliant. :D

(OK, so I guess my confession is that I've SEEN Enchanted. :o )
I adore Enchanted! And anyone who's seen it knows it shouldn't be such a guilty pleasure; it's a well-made, well-acted, fun, and funny venture, and anyone who is capable of getting over himself would realize as much!

It was OK, but Happy Working Song and a few other scenes apart... overall, for this sort of fairy tale movie I think I prefer Ella Enchanted and not just for the lovely Anne.

Okay, time for more:

I recently bought CDs by Neil Diamond and Jim Croce. Strangely enough, this only makes me feel a *bit* old.

When confronted about vandalism, I reply, "What? That's messed up, who would do such a thing???"

I'm laughing to tears in the inside.

There was a professor at the college I attended whom I really disliked. She was just awful, both personally and professionally. One day when she wasn't there and nobody was around, I peed on her office rug.
