Aragorn

Fleet Admiral
Admiral
When an earthquake leaves LA in a mess, Crews and Reese try to find an escaped murderer that they arrested a year ago. In the beginning they are trying to find him to protect him from being killed, but soon find that he is not the victim. Ted gets injured during the earthquake.

Before I comment on this excellent episode, I must say...WTF?! was up with that kiss? Eww...yuck...eww...yuck. WTF?!

Alright, now that I've gotten that out of my system, I loved this ep. I never would have thought Arthur Tines would turn out to be such a badass criminal. I mean...yeah...creepy mofo, but he was so whimpy at the end of his ep last season. I guess he was right when he said prison had taught him all he needed to know.

I thought the armoured car manager was in on the whole thing. Never guessed they were holding her family. I did guess Tines was the person on the phone, though. Knew that, but I thought he was going to use the information to get to the witness.

Must not forget Ted and Mrs. Reynolds. Eww on the pencil, but yay that he finally admitted how he felt. :techman:

I concur with the above.

Maybe the kiss came from them being in the 'quake and ...random feeling led to that?

I did like how the new captain is becoming more human even though he can be a bit crass.

I wonder if we will ever see Mrs Reynold's husband to be on the show.

Damn you! I read your first line, then stopped reading because I didn't want to be spoiled. The first thing I thought of was it was between Reese and the sleazy captain. But then because I didn't carefully read your first line, I was hoping it was the kiss-pull-pencil maneuver you were referring to. But then Reese kissed her captain!!!!

And Crews isn't doing a good job of keeping his band of brothers alive.

At least the bad guy's dead. Someone like that, I probably would've backed over his head with the car or something.

Also, what's with Life moving to Wednesday? It's better than Friday, for sure, but did another show on NBC die?

Another excellent episode. I was disappointed that Michael Cudlitz's character was killed off so quickly, but in retrospect I realize that I quickly forgot about it because I got really caught up in the chase for Tines. What a slimy bastard.

Ted and Mrs. Reynolds b-plot was wonderful. I hope we see more of that (and not just because Christina Hendricks is so goddamn HOT!).

Poor Charlie had to shoot up his own car. :(

Lastly, the kiss. I'm very disappointed and disgusted.

Oh, and I, for one, got the reference to Help! :p

I don't even know what comes on NBC on Wednesdays at 9, but it's going to be up against Criminal Minds. It usually wins it's time slot, but I don't care. I was missing Numb3rs on Friday for Life.

Sorry, Aragorn. snickers If I had to witness it, so did you.

Maybe having Reese hook up with the perv captain is supposed to give all the nerds and fanboys hope. :p

I would have given this one an excellent if it wasn't for the second to last scene (between Reese and Tidwell).

I don't know how I missed this thread the first time. I even posted my own, which promptly sank like a stone - because you were all in here, drat ya! ;) Oh well, here's what I posted in the other thread, minus the smilies, because I'm too lazy to put 'em in again.

Is it just me, or has the show lost something this season? I'm thinking it's not just me, because we haven't even had a thread in a couple weeks. ETA: Although considering I completely missed THIS thread, maybe there HAS been one and I'm just blind.

Someone let all the air out of the conspiracy against Charlie. They're giving Dani virtually NOTHING to do. The new boss is a slimeball - and not in a good Garak/Dukat way. And there's just something wrong with the characters, something is off from the way it was last season.

That being said, I did like this week's episode better than others this season. For one thing, we saw Olivia again, whom I love (with absolutely NO previous bias as a result of her existence as YoSaffBridge in a previous life ), along with Ted, who really needs more scenes. We didn't have to deal with Charlie's ex this week, which is a bonus. And I really enjoyed seeing the guys from last season make a reappearance, although I have a hard time buying that THAT guy was THAT clever. Best moment of the episode - Charlie letting the boy know when he was going to shoot the bad guy - GO CHARLIE!

I'd have been much more zen with this episode if DANI HADN'T KISSED TIDWELL!!!!! Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeewwww!!!!! This is SO the WRONG way to go with her character. Every attempt to make the guy decent just makes me hate the character more. They can't flush that character soon enough for me.

Just a reminder - "Life" moves to wednesday nights this week, airing 11/5 up against "Criminal Minds".
