License plate and bumper sticker wins and fails

^On a serious note: Most people I know who are sensitive to flashing lights have epileptic, migraine or seizure problems. Have you been checked for any of these?

Hmmm..... That's interesting. I've had problems with migraines in the past, and I can't stand LED flashlights. If one gets pointed in my direction, it's instant sharp headache. It's for this reason that I won't be replacing any of the lightbulbs (mostly CFLs, which I have no problems with) in my home with LEDs anytime soon.

Taken using my blackberry while I was driving. Probably wasn't a good idea.

Thankfully I have never had seizures or migraines. But if I see something strobing, I have to look away because it feels like it's going to give me a headache. Even when I was little that was my response, to look away rather than keep subjecting myself to it.

That's VERY difficult on the road, but I've learned to try to keep my eyes elsewhere and not move them from side to side too much around cars with LED headlights, because that minimizes the effect. I am just very, very sensitive to things whose refresh rate is not high enough.

Oh...my first was "ignition" or "ignite." (Possibly because of all of B.J.'s space-themed license plates.)

haha, sorry. This is not so. Its pronounced iggnit... like how Chris Rock describes a group of people who are proud to be ignorant.

^ Am I missing something?

With a certain amount of thought it's possible to see the word "Ignorant" in the plate.

Christ... After more than ten years. The English language still baffles me beyond comprehension.

On a sidenote. I wonder if he/she is also as ignorant about how much it costs to own a car (lorry?) like that. Judging from the overkill exhausts, I'd wager its gotta be a Hemi inside that thing. You yanks and your trucks... Incredible

To be fair we don't know what he uses that truck for so it's possible he needs the Hemi the additional saddle rear tires. If not then he's an asshole because those saddle tires/fenders do look stupid. Hate those fucking things. That can't handle very well.

And, yeah, the truck looks like a Ram to me.

Occasionally I do see people pull some VERY large loads with their trucks--campers, horse trailers, etc, that a smaller vehicle couldn't manage. But personally, I really think a truck like that should be a work tool, not something you get just because. Just my personal opinion, though.

now i drive minivans, trucks and pickups too. but i dont drive them for fun. usually they're loaded until they burst. as you said, they're work tools. a piece of information the apparently never made it to the states. statistically, how many of those bloody pickups are actually used for dragging trailers and such? an extreme minority.

personally, i'm perfectly content with a saab 9-3. i dont need a bigass dodge ram or a f-150. if i need something sturdier, i borrow a truck from work. but for a 24/7 vehicle, i couldn't imagine driving one of those.

I've known plenty of dualie owners, but none that didn't pull something big and heavy with it. Of course, I live in a rural community.

Dang, had to dig down 7 pages to find this thread......

Anyway, a few more wins:
TPAU - Remember seeing this back when I was in St Louis.
ADLUNA - I believe it means "To the Moon", and knowing my city, you'd better believe it's not a "Honeymooners" reference! :D

And finally, I saw this one this morning.....

It's a little blurry, but yes, it says STRTRK!

I was behind this truck last time I was in Austin, the driver had completely covered the tailgate with all kinds of pro-gun, vote Republican stickers, and in the middle of it all, was my new favorite bumper sticker.

"My Ship Finally Came In, But It Was the Kobayashi Maru!"

Wish I had gotten a picture of it, but the digital camera wasn't handy.
