I think he was really good at getting across just how nerdy and creepy Geordi was.

7 Seasons and that's your takeaway? One episode? An episode in which any perceived creepiness is massively overstated anyway?

Geordi was best with Data. Those two complimented each other really well. But geordi standalone episodes never did anything for me. They weren't bad. Just ok. Data standalone episodes were always great. I think it's because data's actor really brought out the best in his costars. And data had a unique relationship with almost every character he interacted with. The scenes they shared felt logical. And when onscreen with laforge, there was some spark, some chemistry that elevated the scene to top shelf. Even the minor doing diagnostics on data scenes. It felt like two genuine friends. Same in picard. Geordi was alot better in picard than tng. But when the hooked up with data again. I saw brief glimpses of that spark from tng.
