Let's clear up all continuity glitches once and for all!

So...why have the Klingons used the exact same ships and technology in Enterprise/2150's (D7/K'tinga battlecruiser, Bird of Prey etc) as they do in DS9/2370's, and why is it so rusty and broken-down?

Why does a 1970's Ford Transit van look the same as a 2010's one ?

Some designs just stick. The Klingons probably just thought that there's nothing wrong with the outer hull design so why change it ?

I wanted to come back in to say that I DO actually like the configuration that we are referring to as the Daedalus class, but I am liking it in the way that I like the big old Hudson and DeSoto autos from the late 1940's. Somehow retro and cool, but not as "fast looking" as you might want in some action sequences and situations. Maybe watching the "Discovery" glide slowly along in all those tranquil sequences from "2001" has forever branded ships with spherical hulls at their bow in my mind as not capable of impressive dynamic motion.
This, however, may be my own issue to deal with.....
