Leonard Nimoy in Volkswagen Bug Commercial

Recently, VW has been doing ads where they pretend an old VW bug is hosting a talk show, and the guest and bug talk back and forth, complimenting each other. They did one with Hiedi Klume, one with David Hasselhoff, and tonight... Leonard Nimoy! :vulcan:

They talked type-casting; how people think Leonard has no emotion, and people think the VW bug is just "cute" but is really a great engineered car. The ending is Leonard with a final comment on type-casting before he is beamed out, to which the bug just says, "Uh... Leonard?"

Hope to see it on YouTube soon!

Oh man that sounds hysterical! Please tell me this is on Youtube somewhere! I'm at work now and can't access that site until I get home.

I never thought I'd see an ad campaign starring Heidi Klume and Leonard Nimoy.

Now I can die happy.

Searches on YouTube and Google Video turned up nothing on this, but I did find a rather amusing use of the "Bilbo Baggins" video combined with a tune by the Bad Brains.

It sounds quite funny! I haven't seen it yet, do you have a link? Call me stupid but what is VW?

I was doing a news article on this and while looking for a YouTube link (unhappily, it's not yet up. *grr!*), I found this thread.

My husband insisted he could find the clip. He couldn't of course, but he decided to give me the next best thing. I can't use it in the news article, of course, but I thought it might give you guys a grin.
