I had a hard time with this on the PS2, and now, on the complete PS3, I think its actually gotten harder! I know what must be done : Luke, using Yoda's aid, must lower two tall mushrooms, so that Artoo can rocket from one to the other, accessing a gate that only he can open. The problems arise in trying to actually do this.
First of all, the damned bats. Usually, the game has some sort of angle you can face, or at least a power brick-extra that can aid you when being attacked while trying to do a task. No such luck here, and the damned bats regenerate within a seriously stupidly short amount of time. Worse still, Luke and Yoda will wander away to fight the bats after you switch to Artoo, and I'd swear that the switch-character distance has changed in this version as well. Needless to say, the mushrooms start rising again before Artoo (who also starts to wander when not being played) can even hope of getting to the second one. The fact that the character-switch is also used here for Yoda's aid of Luke also throws off my timing to the point of insanity, because when I try to switch to Artoo, Yoda separates and if he's nearby(which he always is), the hook-up occurs again. I barely pulled this off on the PS2, and even early on, I managed to get Artoo onto the 2nd Mushroom, which he invariably slid off. Even the GameFAQ's only mention this level's difficulty and its basic solution.
I'm begging here. Is there some duh trick I'm just missing?
