So I took great pains to hide that this is just a LEGO model, but this is an early concept design for what I imagine the classic motion picture era (TMP) Romulan ships would have looked like. The head canon for me is that this is the Romulan contemporary of the 2280's and would have appeared alongside the Klingon K'Tinga class battlecruiser and Bird of Prey, and the Federation Constitution class and Miranda class. Due to a conflict over the naming of the ships, this was the earliest Romulan "Warbird" by title, in spite of resembling the TOS era Bird of Prey more closely than the Klingon ship of the same name. This ship is primarily white, with dark gray and sky blue accents, and should ironically feature NO prominent raptor's wings pattern, but rather the aztec detailing in the paint job itself should resemble feathers in shape. Historically this was the last class of ship seen in use until the D'Deridex Warbird was introduced in the 2360s, and as such it was prominently used during conflicts such as the Tomed Incident and the Battle of Narendra III, the latter in which the Klingons reported a fleet of no less than 15 warbirds in the skies above Narendra III when the Enterprise-C arrived.
