[Dream]

While trying to rescue Chase's family from captivity, Richard finds himself face to face with the evil Darken Rahl for the first time.

This weeks episode was good. We finally got a fight between Richard and Darken Rahl but as expected it wasn't going to be the last fight they had. I'm still confused at why they turned Giller into a baddie on the show when he was a good guy in the book. Nice to see the Kahlan's Con Dar finally appear but apparently Kahlan uses telekinesis instead of the lightning. I was worried it had only appeared because of the experiment but they stuck when how she was able to use it like from the book.

I wasn't thrilled with this episode...Rahl could have easily been defeated if they hadn't all just gone waltzing back into the Keep! I know they were trying to cure Chase but they should have killed Rahl first and then had Zed work on a cure for him (I realize the show couldn't kill Rahl off yet, but you don't have to make the heroes look so dumb in the process). And why didn't they at least keep a sample of the potion to see if Zed could possibly replicate it!

It was nice to see Chase and his family reunited though and the preview for next week looked really good.

The writers wanted it to make it tragic that Richard had to give up the potion so Chase could be with his wife. I thought it was dumb that they didn't keep a sample too but the writers probably don't want to make it too easy for Richard to get with Kahlan.

I thought it was really cool when Kahlan turned Darken Rahl's minions against him at the end there.

It was nice to see Chase and his family reunited though and the preview for next week looked really good.

I was worried that Chase's wife was going to be killed so I was glad she made it out alive. Looks like Denna is coming back next week which is great. I hope they keep Denna as a reoccuring villain.

I love any episode were Bridget Regan gets to be awesome. I'm in love with her.

Great fight scenes, scary blood rage, sexy killer MordSith fun, hot intimate hugging and a promise of more Deena next week? This was a perfect 10.

I enjoyed this episode, I was just expecting Zedd to come in near the end and save them. The blood rage scene was unexpected and I enjoyed how it was depicted. Kahlan is pretty badass

I am starting to enjoy the show more and more as I realize that it does not have to be exactly like the book.
The preview for next week looked great too!

Ahhhhh Denna.. Denna.. Denna... excellent episode and Denna made it even better.. I am worried though that they will only have Denna and not her sister Mord Sith as well.. that would be disappointing...
