Spoilers Legacies - Season 1

Legacies, the new The Original/The Vampire Diaries spin-off, featuring returning TVD cast member Matt Davis as Alaric and The Originals' Danielle Rose Russell returning from that show's final season as Hope premiered last night.
The show focuses on The Salvatore School for the Young and Gifted, the school that Alaric and Caroline set up at the end of TVD.
I thought it got off the a good start.
I already really liked both Alaric and Hope from TVD and The Originals, so I'm pretty happy to see them as the leads here.
The new characters are all pretty interesting, the one Saltzman twin's ex already seems like a character you'll love to hate.
The twist at the end with Landon was interesting, I'm very curious to see where that's going.

The pilot was definitely a slow start for the show. I'm not sure any of the characters are grabbing me beyond Alaric and Hope, but some of them hold some promise. I'll keep watching, of course. I loved the Originals.

Yes, they are different actors. The Originals jumped several years into the future, and the original actors are on the young side for this show.

I meant in The Originals. They had them on the last season of The Originals and they were the same age, but I think they might have been different actresses.
So is anybody else still watching? I've been really enjoying it so far.

Both of The Originals actresses are also too young to be cast as the Saltzman twins on Legacies.

So is anybody else still watching? I've been really enjoying it so far.

It's growing on me. I'm not impressed yet, but it's an enjoyable enough show so far.
