When a student dies at an exclusive private school, the investigation uncovers an online community that may have overtaken the school with its fixation on grades and secrets.
Hopefully this isn't another recycled plot with the focus on an elite private school. The online community bit sounds like an interesting twist, however.

I wonder if this one has been inspired by that woman who pretended to be a 13 year old boy and drove that girl to suicide.

Well, that's basically what it was...pretty good, but I'm tired of the "all rich prep school kids are thugs, racist, think they can get away with anything, think they're entitled to everything" stories. Yeah, we get it. The cops hate rich kids. It gets boring.

It kind of was, but it was murder instead of suicide, and the kids involved had a totally different plan than just humiliating a girl. Kind of a hard way to do it!

Fairly enjoyable, certainly better than I expected, but mostly predictable. Preppy kid with daddy issues lashes out at teacher which leads to the death another student. Plus John Shea played his typical snobby, uptight character.

^ They should have had him staring down a cobra. Those were some of his best scenes ever on film (Lois & Clark)

I wasn't sure which headline story they were going to take it from. I seriously thought they were going to have the girls be the killers. They were vicious. Of course, the Texas cheerleader Lifetime movie was still fresh in my mind. Can't put anything past determined, catty girl. The ring leader was a real piece of work. Kinda wanted to beat her down, but then I had to admire how she stood up for her friend.

I enjoyed it.

I gave it a "good." A nice plot, but not very many surprises. It's a bit of a cliche, now--the evil white, rich kids. Just a bit much.

I'm getting weary of episodes that end with the detectives maneuvering the killer into confessing in order to prove his worth to the person who considers him incapable of it. Actually now that I type that out, I'm not sure it happens all that often, but it's so contrived that it doesn't take many uses to wear it out. Although I guess it's a little more credible that a teenager would be that foolish.

This episode was just too convoluted. Too many characters, too many agendas, too many twists. The actual killer kind of got lost in the shuffle and seemed to come out of nowhere.

Also, there were significant timing problems. In the teaser, it looked as though Ms. Nobile followed her daughter out of the classroom immediately after the posting of the video, searched for her, found the door ajar, went into the tunnels, and found Paul. But later we were told that he was found four hours after the video was posted, and that Nobile had learned the whole story from Tess in the interim. (Unless the detectives were talking about the beating video. Again, it was pretty confusing with all the different plot points and twists thrown in.)

*I'm* getting weary of episodes that involve prep school students in any way. If there's ever been a group of characters less interesting to watch, and more deserving of a serious beating, I'm having trouble coming up with one.

Some specific instances that would run the risk of provoking rage in my own self, if I wasn't so passive-aggressive  :

- That scene in the hallway when the detectives are getting the lockers opened.

- Pretty much any scene with that one girl who grew up on Park Avenue but was painting herself as an oppressed Victim(tm) of The Man(tm) who supposedly knew all about the Projects(tm).
