mb22

Fleet Captain
Fleet Captain
Here is 2018 interview with Laurel Goodwin, from "The Cage" pilot. Mostly about Elvis and co-starring in his Girls! Girls! Girls!, but a bit of Trek as well.

One thing I've discovered being a fan of classic tv shows, is that if you do an image search of an attractive actress from the 60s there is a 90% chance you're going to find a pic of her with Elvis.

It's good to be the king, I suppose.

Marianna Hill had dealings with Elvis which weren't condusive to her career I believe after they failed to really hit it off in Paradise:Hawaiian Style, due to his buddies as she called them!

^ cool

Since the powers that be thought Walter Koenig in a Beatles wig would draw in younger viewers, it's a shame that they didn't try a little stunt casting.

Catspaw would have been a lot more interesting with these two as Korob and Sylvia:

Note, I said 'interesting" not necessarily "good."

Star Trek barely gets mentioned and they discuss nothing about it except her having fans. That very short bit starts at 11:56.

I think such casting would have been out of their budget.
