Latest William Shatner Rumour!!***Major Spoiler Alert****

I talked to a friend of mine at Paramount's casting office.

All this bluster about Shatner not being asked to be in this film is BS.

We all know from previous press releases that Shatner and Nimoy have each met with Abrams to discuss the new movie. Many have speculated about what these conversations entailed. Could they be preliminary meetings about the characters, the script, making the deal??

We may never know. What I have found out is that

Spoiler: Shatner will indeed have a cameo

When Spock books passage to Earth, Shatner will indeed appear......as the Priceline Negotiator!!!

It doesn't get more official than this!!


And you heard it from moi first!!

Personally, I say good riddance to Shatner. He hasn't turned in a credible performance as Kirk since STIII. Everything else afterward is just Shatner impersonating the Captain Kirk we all remember. He's done little but make fun of the character. Kirk's dead and should stay that way.

Captain TJ Hooker, a teacher at the academy. The Great, Great, Great, Great Grandson of Sergeant TJ Hooker. He'll be teaching young Kirk & Spock to slide across the display of the helm console as well showing them how to flip over the shuttlecraft in a space-chase...

I'd actually thought of that, and so did TPTB. Since no one has any attention span to remember that far back, the idea was.. what were we talking about?
