There is apparently a move afoot to put the people in charge of the Twilight franchise in charge of MGM overall.

And Carl Ichan (who frakked up the Marvel Bankruptcy and almost killed the company) is making noises about being his usual obstructionist self.

What exactly did Carl Ichan do to Marvel?

It would take too long to go into excruciating detail. Basically, Marvel, already in trouble, had a restructuring plan all but ready to go, and Ichan got together a group of investors and inserted himself in the process mid-stream and kicked everything over to make a fast buck.
