Who were the last ten visitors to your profile? Why do you think they were looking?

I seem to remember having a few cross words with Gul Re'jal although I could be wrong - I have cross words with a lot of people.

Don't even 'know' most of the others so not sure why they were eyeing me up.

I visit people's profiles all the time. If they say something that interests me - and many people do, particularly in conversations on serious matters, whether I agree with them or not - I often pop in and learn a few details. I feel like I'm taking an interest in the people around me.

As for my own profile, it's usually about 50% established friends and contacts, 50% people who were seemingly curious for reasons I imagine are similar enough to my own. I suppose I also assume that, like me, they feel interested and invested in their fellows on the BBS. If someone who I disagreed with in a thread has clicked there, I don't see it as "snooping"; quite the opposite, I take it as a rather charming sign that they're taking the discussion seriously and have no malice about them. They took the time to have a quick look

As someone who goes onto profile pages a lot, I suppose I should apologise to anyone who is put off by such things. I certainly meant no offense.

What’s not interesting? It's one of the ways to learn a little bit about others without pestering them. Until last week mine had been stuck in the same place that it was at a year ago.

Some of these people I don't even know, so I imagine that they've clicked on my name accidentally while looking for a post. I know I do that sort of thing all the time.

I'll sometimes click on a person's profile if I find something interesting in their posts, such as when they say, "Here where I live, it's this way, etc, etc," and I think, "I wonder where they live?" So I'll click on their profile to see if it says anything. Most of the time, though, a person's profile page says very little.

It's totally uninteresting now, since I took all my info out. But your name doesn't show up for me. I'm pretty sure if you choose to be invisible, it only shows up for you and maybe mods/admins.

I do "snoop" on people's profile sometimes, usually when I don't know the author of a post that caught my eye and I want to see when he/she registered etc. to get a feel for who that is.

It's interesting only if you write interesting things on it. I'm not the kind of person who write a lot of informations. It took me 2 or 3 years just to indicate my birthday

bold indicates they are a MOD .
