Las Vegas con sold out for 50th anniversary

I know Vegas is the go to worldwide Trek con, but am quite amazed it's sold out, especially at the prices Creation want. The only tickets left appear to be weekend admission for $549. I think someone's extracting the urine.
The guest list isn't terrible, but the 50th anniversary will only happen the once, and in view of no Patrick, Avery, Scott Bakula, and all the other notables who aren't going so far, it's actually pretty poor. I noticed a while back that Patrick doesn't have one con appearance scheduled this year. That rather worried me. I know he's busy filming Blunt Talk, but that's not really an excuse given what this year is.
