Lack of advertising?

I haven't watched CBS much lately so I haven't seen much, but I am watching NCIS, Bull, and NCIS: New Orleans tonight, and I'm curious to see if I see anything for DSC. I did see one last week when watch NO.

I haven't watched ANY show since Enterprise went off the air. It will be an adjustment to watch a show again.

On the handful of cbs shows I DVR there are always DSC commercials. CBS is the most watched American network.
Absolutely true. But isn't their average viewer older? I think that is the trend for most of the big broadcasters.

I can only speak to my experience but I've come across way more elderly Trek fans that are either totally confused about what CBSAA even is or that are outright unwilling to dive into streaming services. It will be interesting to read up on the demographics for the service if CBS ever releases them.

Yes, during the only shows I've watched on CBS, NFL preseason football games, I saw some DSC ads.
This morning CBS released another web promo on Twitter. Titled “Fortune Favors the Bold,” this one emphasizes exploration and has a good amount of new footage in it so it is worth a watch.
Well, no matter how it actually works out, this new footage indicates that this crew at least sees themselves as explorers even though circumstances may get in the way.

And how many billboards or posters have you seen for other Netflix shows? I can't recall seeing any for the Defenders shows, or for Narcos, House of Cards or Orange is the New Black. And this is in Manchester. I wouldn't worry - am sure Netflix will blitz people with e-mails, articles in the Metro and so on closer to the time.

I take your point, however In the US I did see loads of Defenders billboards. Hopefully more will arrive for St.

Also Netflix is already established as a platform, whereas CBS all access is not. I would have though as ST is the show upon which it's sucsess more or less rests, they'd be doing a little more stateside.

While I do not watch much TV I know that Entertainment Tonight on CBS does blitzes of coverage for a Star Trek show. Has anyone seen anything on it yet this month? I would expect they will cover Star Trek daily around Sept. 18-22. I had read in this forum there is a group cinema premiere (one location only) on Tuesday September 19. I would expect some actors/above the line crew creatives to be in attendance. I guess that is West Coast in the evening so no info until probably Wednesday AM Sept.20 from any people in attendance who give comments. Is ET on CBSAA?
