Kurn and Worfs decision

Worfs in again out again theme with the Klingons is well known
But should they not have shown an episode after he came into the house of martok where he regrets what he did to Kurn? Considering Kurn could have came in too?

Yeah, I never really liked that DSN ep with Kurn. It did make sense that Worf, with his sense of both loyalty and mercy, would take that route -- erasing Kurn's memory and allowing him to start over again with a new background, kind of a 24th century witness protection program. (Bet it would be fairly easy to hide someone in the 24th century that way, what with advanced surgery and the ability to fake computer records.)

A bit off-topic. It would've been interesting if the roles were reversed -- if Kurn had been on Khitomer and was brought up by Federation parents and Worf were the more Klingon Klingon. Or if both had not been on Khitomer and under the protection of Kurn's foster father. Or if they both were brought up by the Rozhenkos.

It definitely seemed out of character for Kurn. During the Klingon Civil War, he had allies ready to follow him, and it's doubtful that Gowron could sway them. Let's never mind that escaping one's life because of problems is not a very good message.
