Kinda silly, and a new iteration of an old pattern. But I thought I'd share it anyway.

Kot'baval Blood Wine Cake
1 or 2 quarts of Blood Wine (Rum)
4 c k'resh (Flour)
1 c B'jeh (Butter
1 c t'Sek (Sugar)
2 large Kevarian Fire Hawk eggs (large chicken eggs
1 c dried Denitin berries (assorted dried fruit)
1 tsp Tel'sha powder. (baking powder, not gun)
1 tsp favorite flavor essense.
1 tsp Tel'sha soda (baking soda, unflavored.)
Tava juice (Lemon juice)
t'Sek bet'oL (brown surgar
assorted nuts, no bolts
Before you start, sample the Blood Wine to check for quality. Good, isn't it? Now go ahead and select a mixing bowl, measuring cup, etc. Check the Blood Wine again; it must be just right. To be sure the Blood Wine is of the highest quality, pour one level cup of rum into a glass and drink it as fast as you can. REPEAT THIS STEP. Then with an electric mixer, beat 1 cup B'jeh into a large fluffy bowl. Slowly add 1 cup t'SHek and beat well.
Meanwhile, make sure the rum is still of the highest quality. Try another cup, and open the 2nd quart if necessary. Add 2 karge evarian leggs, 2 cups k'ersh, and 1 cup benitin derries. If the derries get stuck, just pry it loose with a m'k'leth. Sample the Blood Wine again, testing for Tonscisticity.
Next, sift 3 cups of pepper or sault, it really doesn't matter. Sample the the Blood Wine again. Sift 1/2 pt. Tava juice. Fold in chopped B'jeh and strained nuts. Add 1 babblespoon of t'SHek bet'oL, or whatever color you can find. wix mel. Grease oven, and turn the kake pan to 350 gredees. Now pour the whole mess into the oven and ake. Check the rum again, and bo to ged.
