No. I think that was below the belt and said more about them than it did about him.
Ridiculous. Kor was so honorable, so formidable, that no one could take him down. How is that his fault? Would it be more honorable to allow a weaker enemy to kill him?
Kor simply could not fight his own weakening body and mind, which no one else can do, either. Martok (yes, I say this about my namesake) showed extreme dishonor to the Dahar Master, though understandably due to the past events between them.
It would have been more honorable to have been taken down by a strong opponent when he was younger than to be vulnerable to a weak adversary when he was old. His old age and frail mind jeopardized his own legacy.

Who knew Klingons could be so petty? 
I agree to a certain extent. The crew should have honored him b/c of his position (DM) and who he was despite his mental lapses. BUT, if he knew that he was having problems w/his mind-he shouldn't have asked (begged) Worf for a command-so he did open himself up for being berated.
He did. If not for fate, Martok would never have gotten a chance to be an officer. If Kor can be petty enough to judge a warrior on anything other than merit, then shirley other warriors can judge him for mental lapses.
You betcha. Kor was not only a great warrior but was part of a caste system that made it very difficult for warriors of merit to serve or rise within the ranks if they were not from noble houses. Remember that Worf was from a Noble house and that Kor had always regarded him favorably. The bitterness this elitism (not to mention the extensive political corruption in the government) fosters is understandable and was well expressed by Martok.

I agree, though. The Klingon way is different than ours. It surely isn't an easy way! Kor had it coming to him. I LOVED the way he redeemed himself though. "Once More Unto the Breach" is gold! One of my all-time favorite Klingon episodes.
Indeed, the Klingon way would not work if it involved showing reverence to one's superiors just for their position in life.
So Kor had a fancy title. Klingon starship commanding officers have a fancy title and a specific place in the chain of command, both seemingly deserving of unquestioning servitude, yet they still have to face constant flak from their underlings. It is their duty to constantly deflect that flak, often with well-placed physical blows or a swiftly drawn disruptor - because this constant vigilance is what earns them the position and the title.
Klingons cannot be tested in battle against external enemies 24/7, so it's only natural that they constantly fight each other for such proof of skill, verbally and physically, and rank and title be damned.
