Yes, they havent ordered any more episodes. But no, it's not an official cancellation. That fate depends on the ratings of the remaining episodes.

Consider it canceled. I never watched it so, I can't comment on the show itself but, I can say that, no matter how good or bad it was and no matter what could be done to make it better, NBC needs to clear a lot of airtime to make room for Jay Leno. They're giving him the 10pm slot, Mon. - Fri. for his "new" talk show.

That's not even the same time slot as Knight Rider Since you didn't watch the show, why bother commenting in this thread?

Think before you type.
They need to make room for the shows that currently air at 10pm that they wish to keep. That means under performing shows like Knight Rider have to go.

I only commented on the oncoming schedule changes the network will need to do. Not the show itself.
I found the original to be insipid and didn't expect much more from a re-make. That does not mean I can't comment on possible reasons for it's cancellation.
