Fun episode, and it truly shows the show has found its stride. KITT is treated much more as a character here than just a tool or extension of Mike himself. I appreciated there being a "partners" moment between Mike and KITT and the acknowledgment of FLAG's rebirth was nice to see, though their insistence on not using the chess piece symbol mystifies me. KITT's protective tone when he was interrogating the guy inside him really emphasized the bond he has formed with Mike. I really liked that moment a lot.
Hurray for Zoe and Billy actually serving a purpose. And I like the description of Billy's "Second Life" character.
And geebus, the hotties were in full force this ep!
I'm really hoping it gets a second season, but as much of a fan as I am I know its chances are slim.
Fun episode, and it truly shows the show has found its stride. KITT is treated much more as a character here than just a tool or extension of Mike himself. It was as bad as the cliche of huge gates slowly lowering and allowing EVERYONE enough time to get out(Indiana Jones and the temple of Doom, Raiders of the Lost Ark)

This was clearly out of sequence in the season, but it was a nice way to end the series, on a high note. This episode was fun,silly, but just the right amount of stupid. It was more like the early episodes with the required pool side scenes and car chases, but the simpler plot worked. Mike being drunk was funny, but the bets was when he abducted the girl and threw her in the trunk and everyone just looked. For some reason, it made sense in that frakked up, turn your brain off Knight Rider way.
I do hope we see more of them, but my guess is that the next time we see the cast, it will be in the $5 autograph line at the next convention.

I really enjoyed this episode. As others have said, the show seems to have hit it's stride. I really hope it gets a second season.
Likes:
- The hot chicks
- KITT. Not only is the car drop dead gorgeous, Val Kilmer has really made KITT his own.
- Mike's smart ass comments. The one about the backstabbing program cracked me up.
- Mike and KITT's interaction.
- Billy got the girl this time (like the Vegas episode).
- Zoe had her part in the mission.
- The Incredible Gault
Dislikes:
- Sarah has really taken a backseat in regard to character development. I still feel she's an interesting character and wish the show would do more with her.

Yeah I think they need to find someone to sort of be the 'heavy' so Sarah can be that sexy mix between Devon and Bonnie. Granted Zoe and Billy are the 'bonnie and april' of this piece (I wouldn't call either RC3) but they need to re-establish Sarah as basically the chief brain, not just another equally smart young woman.
And yes... this show brings the pretty!
I agree with the above comment, Val Kilmer really has loosened up and started to enjoy the role. I was comparing the 'post SSC' KITT to the first dozen episodes and I have to admit, he's getting far less monotone and just having more fun with it. Granted yes I know its all in the script, but you can tell it by the TONE of his voice. And the fact that the writers are making KITT as much a character as the other four.
Although that "Make the music better" part was great - 'Billy has issues!"
