I think you'll find that taste is subjective, and tastelessness is objective.
Biologically it's probably a redundancy thing more than a requirement as Lorca's mind went to. Female Klingons would likely not have a second organ but there are probably four ovaries inside. Having a back up increases the chances of reproduction just as the back up internal organs increase stamina, resilience and immunity. Only one heart though but a better one than mere humans have.

Two is already a redundancy.
The Klingon god didn't look at humans and double everything they had when inventing the first Klingon, they just made sure that the Klingons have a backup organ for everything like heart or a gonad, that's not in use until the primary is off line.
If they only need one gonad, then they only need one back up, which is two overall inside everywhere.

Yep. In the DISCO episode "Will You Take My Hand?", we see two urine streams, so it's a reasonable assumption based on that and the TNG episode "Ethics" discussion of Klingon biology.
