Not really. Modiphius doesn't seem to have any restrictions when it comes to mentioning stuff from novels and previous RPGs. In the Beta Quadrant Sourcebook, the Gorn captain is named S'slee, which is the same name he had in the FASA RPG.

I noticed the advert/blurb mentioned Jim Ford.
John M. "Mike" Ford wrote the Pocket novels and the Klingon material in the FASA RPA games. Not "Jim".
Yes, John M. Ford is who I meant. The author of one of the best ST novels I've read, The Final Reflection. The Klingon suppliment is fun to skim through, too. I hope that his other works will still have the chance of being republished.
