This is one of my favorite designs. It's so distinctly "Klingon" now, but in another reality it would have made a great hero-ship.
I actually really like the plain green/grey paint job. On a physical model held in your hands it looks great, but trying to do a gritty 'space shot' with that is difficult. So I dirty mine up a little;
Can I say, simply, that you should take this image, and smack TOS-Remastered upside the head for doing such a poor job when you did this am-a-zing model. I mean, look at this compared to that undetailed junk. This is amazing.

Yes! may I too Smack them upside the head. The difference in quality is stunning.
What ticks me off is the fact that THIS (CBS Digitial) may be the final Klingon ship that new fans will see when they watch Star Trek for generations to come.
I am grateful for the fact that some of the (more talented than CBS) fans will have something to say about that.
Come to think of it, it has always been the way of things with Star Trek.
Companies put out crappy prop replicas, fans make better ones.
CBS does crappy effects, Prologic9 does better ones.

Nice. No question your model looks infinitely better than the TOS-R version. The paint job alone helps set it off as something alien rather than just another gray hulled ship with clunky looking plating.
If it were me I would have done what they did with the TOS E 11 footer. Put a couple of indented panels there as the impulse engines and just paint the insides black. Light them up if you want, but keep it simple without the grilling.
