Klingon D7 battlecruiser in 1/650 scale by AMT

Wanted to share some pics of my latest modeling effort, the reissued Klingon D7 battlecruiser from AMT. The model was build mostly straight OOTB with the exception of the deflector tunnel (I replaced the plastic spike with a brass one of my own) and the warp nacelles (I added 1/8" to the length in the rear). I followed a multi-tone paint scheme with pale-greenish blue on the lower surfaces, the command pod, neck, and the nacelles and a bluish grey for the upper surfaces. Funny thing is, the ship looks mostly monotone grey in a lot of the photographs so it still looks screen accurate to me. Hope you all enjoy the pics!

Now the early kits had a more detailed impulse neck upper manta, but less detailed graph units (nacelles)

Might be nice to mix and match...
