Yeah, Chekov's Dutch Boy outfit might very well be the *worst* casual wear ever, ever seen in any TREK movie or series.

Yes, that is indeed quite bad. It's never stood out to me as much, I guess because Chekov didn't have much to do relative to Kirk.
McCoy was rocking a pretty cool outfit though!
^^I'm confused.
I'm pretty sure that when the klingons arrive in the ENT in TSFS it the klingon orange---NOT the enterprise blue color we see.
And I do understand the preference of beaming onto another transporter pad, but it's not required----especially in a combat situation.
They had intra ship(?) beaming as early as Day of Dove.
I don't see the logic of beaming almost your entire crew to an enemy ship at the exact post they expect you to appear.
To me they really had the klingons appear on the transporter pad just for dramatic effect---the heroes leaving and the klingons arriving in the same shot.
And I can't recall the episodes but I'm pretty sure they beamed from the Ent to other Fed starships and didn't arrive on the other ships pads but on the bridge or whatever.
Omega Glory? Tholian Web? Doomsday Machine?
Kruge only had to hit one button to fire a torpedo that would finish off the Enterprise. He knew from the fact that they hadn't been finished off that Kirk's ship was crippled. Even if it did have a full crew on board, so long as there was one person on the bridge of the Bird of Prey, the Enterprise crew wouldn't dare resist.
Did he know for sure that the Ent didn't have a second transporter room and at the same time wouldn't board his ship with reduced crew?
I know it can be explained if you try, but I just don't like it at all and can't accept that it makes sense.
