Kirsten Beyer interview

There's a shiny new interview with Kirsten Beyer at Unreality-SF.net, conducted by TrekBBS's very own Defcon.

The focus is mostly on Full Circle - including how Kirsten approached the novel, what she'd have done with the Voyager crew if the Christie Golden and Titan books hadn't already mapped things out, and the controversial death of Kathryn Janeway - but there's also discussion of Unworthy, and mentions of her other Trek work.

If you fancy checking it out, it's here: http://unreality-sf.net/interviews/kirstenbeyer.html

(Christ, I hope this thread stays on topic. *concerned*)

^Thanks for posting the interview. It was great. Big thanks to DEFCON for conducting said interview. Anyone else crazy excited for Unworthy ? I wonder in Janeway will come back ?

...that's the topic, right?

Well that would be one way to get me to start reading the books. :D

There was happy baby news though so the interview wasn't a total downer. Congrats to Kirsten on the baby girl. :)

Nice interview thanks for sharing. I'm really hoping I can get my hands on FC soon, becaus the more I read the more interested I am.

Congrats Kirsten.

Enjoy the sleepless nights to come.

My copy of FC is currently residing at my grandmother's place and as soon as I can get over there, at the end of this week, I will start reading it.

I always enjoy these interviews and the time the authors put in for what is meant to be a 'niche' market. Thanks. :)

Very nice. Thanks for the link!

I just finished the first half of Full Circle, and I'm hooked. Amazing book so far Kirsten. Someone at Pocket Books give this woman a raise!!!

Ahhh, parenthood...the greatest of challenges, the greatest of rewards! Enjoy them while they're young, for before you know it they will be borrowing your car and returning it without a drop of gas in the tank.

And YOUR parents will love it.
