Kirk's secret weapon

Stellar135

Cadet
Newbie
I think Captain Kirk has a PBAoE anti-IQ aura which has a compounding degenerative effect on his enemies' ability to make rational decisions. I'm not sure of the range, but I would say it has an effective range of 30 km, possibly farther? Additionally, it can penetrate walls and even space.

Before the effects of the aura have compounded, his enemies can usually capture him or his ship within minutes. This is where Spock's logic comes in the most handy - to keep him alive long enough for the aura take effect. But by the end of the episode, Kirk can usually overthrow the government and get the girl regardless of how cockamamie his methods are.

It's the ripped shirt combined with the rug. The sum of two distractions is greater than its constituent parts. We don't know whether to laugh, cry, drool, or set of a Genesis device.

I don't know whether you're right, Stellar135 - I think we're dealing with something known as the Q-Brains-Smartness-Configuration and I'm sure we have a true basic model for quality assurance here, you know, muscles and cleverness and smartness and all that - seems this model has a deleterious effect on its opponents as well as an almost magnetic effect on the opposite sex. Ah, who could’ve known that girls would fall for muscles AND brains…

I was gonna say his "PBAoE anti-IQ aura" was his fists.

But I gotta go along with Yeoman Rancid on this one: "He was hot."
