We all know what I am talking about. Kirk's scene in What Are Little Girls Made of, when he's running around holding the rock prop that looks like a giant penis. Its been stated here, and elsewhere, the actors/directors knew full well what it looked liked and were sure it would get pass the censors, and did...my wife likes that episode alot!! GULP!!

Can you think of other items that made it to screen, either on TOS or the other STAR TREK productions, that maybe the censors missed???

Well - Bob Justman claims that the bare back of Nona in "A Private Little War" made it past the censors (half the length they showed the censors but the full length they wanted it to last on screen).
However - I have yet to see proof of that. I only know the episode without the shower scene.
Maybe it was a two stage thing where they succeeded with their ruse initially - and that memory of success stayed with Bob Justman - only to be foiled in their attempt later on.

I think it is wink of an eye, but there's an episode where they come back from commercial and Kirk is sitting on a bed putting his boots on, suggesting that during the commercial break, sex activities were going on...
