Kirk poll (just for fun)

^ Seems like you just cannot understand that it may have been a misunderstanding on Vejur's part. And I don't want to sound as if I'd want to excuse Vejur, but he wrote "You are a right on ,poll, I don't know to thank you for correcting me or say fuck of wanker, because of your next sentence." I think that's hardly offensive.
 
^ Quite frankly, I don't think he's capable of the subtlety that you place on his use of the word 'or'. I don't say so to be offensive - I say so simply on the basis of my reading of his other posts.

I don't see why 'fuck of' (sic) and 'wanker' ever had to be brought into it, misunderstanding or otherwise. A simple 'what did you mean by that?' might have clarified all without any ill will. There was never any need to go straight into offense (and offensive) mode.

But frankly, I've better things to do right now than discuss this ad nauseum.

Well if ya wanna close it, fine. But maybe Ackles really IS the best Kirk. I just saw another website with a "sexiest actor/actress" poll thing, as per usual, and wow there are a lot of Ackles fans out there... :eek:
 
Jensen Ackles has been my top pick from the beginning.

Also, hasn't Shatner always been a natural brunette? I've always thought that his hair was dyed during TOS.
 
Alright i managed to get this so called ,,fun,, thread open(for short time) because i was going to sent post
to captainmotion but was by then looked.
Alright i can see now this is obvious misunderstanding on both parts. As for me, i felt that your first remarks to be negative or condescending rather then a joke. I can see now you meant no offense (i would suggest people scold use ,,Graenlins more,, when they are joking or making a light hearted pun or play on words) to avoid other users wouldn't interpreted the wrong way like i did. I want point out Captaindemotion that i never said F*** of/off to you. So i am not the only one that misunderstood. If you read my first reply i again i said; ,,I don't know to thank you for correcting me or say fuck of wanker, because of your next sentence (who my first expression thought it was negative or condescending). Take notice the word ,,OR,, So by default(if you were joking) you scold have understood my reply as merely as thank you for correcting me (nothing more)and i also purposely didn't use this Graemlins :D in my reply because i wasn't sure that you were joking or being condescending and i also wanted demonstrate how easy it is to take this the wrong way too.
So let forget about this and move on :rolleyes:

Hair color shouldn't be an issue - that part is easy to fix - Ackles would be cute as a blond or more blond, since Kirk was never really blond at all.

Mainly I want someone who's a good enough actor to handle a deceptively difficult and complex role. Kirk won't be easy. I know Bailey can act and I'll the Supernatural fans' word for it that Ackles can, too.

I don't know who any of these guys are! I'm so unhip! (cries self to sleep...)

Aw! :D Well check out Band of Brothers on DVD at least - Bailey plays a character named Webster - not the most important character, but the series itself is excellent.
