Given how retched the Kick Ass 2 comic was I'm glad that Vaughan turned his eye towards this instead.

Little bit of James Bond, little bit of Pygmalian, could be a winner

A little less cliche "street" language might convince me more though. Vaughan should have cribbed some notes from Attack the Block

Matthew Vaughn left X-Men: Days of Future Past to do this, so I am definitely intrigued & excited. It does look like a modern day Man From UNCLE although people will likely compare it to Men In Black needs James Bond or something. Vaughn has a tendency to improve Mark Millar comic-books (Kick-Ass) so this has a good chance at being good. I haven't disliked a Matthew Vaughn movie yet (although I have yet to see Stardust).

the comic was pretty so-so. definitely one of Millar's lesser works.

They added "The Kingsmen" part to reflect the trade which has it. I couldn't get into the book and I'm a major Millar fan, but this looks fantastic.
