King of the Hill 4/13/08: The Courtship of Joseph's Father

Happy Weekend Propaniacs, It's a brand new week. The wonderful goodness that is King of the Hill keeps chugging along like a well oiled and properly maintained riding mower engine with razor sharpened blades with an all new episode this Sunday. It looks like good fortune will befall Dale on behalf of "his," son Joseph.

After Joseph becomes the star quarterback at Tom Landry Middle School a private school tries to recruit him by plying Dale with gifts.

I can't wait to check this out, just to see how far Dale will take it.

notes: The title is an allusion to the 1969 television show The Courtship of Eddie's Father, which was based on a 1963 movie of the same name.

After the show is over, grab your tiger print speedos and join us in Boomhauers hot tub for discussion. See you there.

next sunday's ep is dale heavy, too

"the C.I.A., in plans to assasinate Kahn's war criminal faher in law, uses Dale's house for staging and monitoring

"what did you think of the library"
Joseph-"I like that there are lots of places where you can't see me"

Pretty good episode. I was surprised we didn't see a scene of Nancy getting trying to change Dale's mind after he announced that Joseph was going to the private school, it seems like something she would do.

Well I said in the episode where Dale gets Redcorn to steal Bill's girlfriend that he really needed a boot up his butt..but I think this one replaced that one for Ass kicking needing.

I didn't care for this episode, but if the next one is about the CIA using Dale to kill Khan's father, that sounds like an A+ ep!

I don't think that's a real episode.

"The only sport that Tom Landry has that is winning anything is Cross Country, and I'd pay anything for that to not be true."

"I starting to forget what you look like."

If it were, I imagine this exchange :

CIA Man : Mr. Gribble, this man (picture of Hank) visits Khan's household as often as anyone we've seen.

Dale : That's just Hank. Noted do-gooder tendencies, general wet-blanket, unreliable in terms of overall ideology, and unwilling to curb his wife's adventurist tendencies--but essentially harmless. If you like, I can allow you access to my surveillance files on him.

CIA Man : Uhhhh--thanks.
