If I'm not mistaken @Therin of Andor gets himself the German novels, at least some of them. I don't think that he reads them in German, though.

I just don't have the disposable income to do something like that, especially when I have literally hundreds of unread books that I actually do plan on reading.
EDIT: I didn't notice the poll at first, so I just voted. I went with both because there are a few books that aren't available in e-book form that I do buy as physical books.

Right. I forgot about that.
I have bought eBooks when there was no other way to get them. Initial frustration by SCE when my PowerMac couldn't handle the downloading and them my work PC was blocked by a firewall. Luckily, they then started coming as hardcopy omnibuses.
Later, I celebrated my first then-new lampshade Mac by buying "The Magic of Tribbles" (eBook exclusive), and any free promotional downloads offered (eg. Titan #1). Then I purchased "New Frontier: No Limits" because I wanted it immediately, and my hardcopy was in transit for several weeks. Now I'm so far behind, I haven't pounced on the more recent eBook novellas.
I only get them for the cover art that I cannot bear not to own: Janos, M'Ress, Arex, Shar, Pava - and the IGW Therin! (I can't read German.)
And "Symbiose", the only way (until this week, thanks to Eaglemoss) of owning the TNG/DS9 comic crossover, "Divide We Fall", as a reprint graphic novel.

It's not your poll - so it's not up to you to say whether it's correct or not.
I went to ebooks about 10 years ago. I'm not really attached to smells or nostalgic about books. It's the words that interest me.
I still buy the physical book. I've tried some of the e-books, but I find that I just don't get the enjoyment out of them that I get from the physical book. There is just something with having the tangible touch of a book when you read it that draws you into the story.
Any books that i buy now have to be ebooks just because i don't have the space to be collecting books. When i was younger, I'd buy every paperback i could but i hated getting rid of them. Books are like dvd's to me, to be enjoyed forever and as such, i need a copy of something if i want to enjoy it again.
There is one big disadvantage regarding physical books: some of the books I have collected are quite battered and worn they almost fall apart. On the other hand: Cross Cult makes good quality books. So the books don't look worn after the first reading. It's only a bigger problem when I purchase the novels in a used condition.

I held off making the move to a Kindle for a long time, but I recently made the switch. I wish I had done so sooner.
I generally read Star Trek books on my phone or iPad- it's a matter of accessibility, it's good to just have them on me at all times. However if I see a book I want at a booksale I usually grab it, but it's definitely not the norm. I did order the first DISCO novel online as a physical book- sometimes you just want the thing to own/loan.
I spend 5 months a year in rural Alaska, and having my entire library in my tablet is a life saver. Not to mention being able to watch video or go online(when I can find wifi). I believe the author makes the same amount regardless weather its a digital or physical sale. Its the publisher who bares the manufacturing costs. But it doesn't cost them alot of make the books, so they actually made larger profits of physical book sales, because they could price them as they see fit.
Since I buy the vast majority (well over 90%) of my books second hand, the only option is hard copies.
There is the added problem as a religious Jew we don't use electronic on the Sabbath so Kindle wouldn't be much use.
OTOH, I have be known to use a bootleg version of a Kindle book if, and only if, I have the hard copy.
Space is slowly becoming a problem but I just love the look of my bookshelves full of Star Trek books.
My main problem now is filling in the spaces in my collection. This becomes more and more difficult as time goes on.

I buy all my Star Trek books on Kindle. It's nice having the entire collection available right on my phone. Honestly, the only books I purchase physical versions of are "coffee table" type books and DnD books (although with DnD I usually also buy the DnDBeyond online version too, so I have access to both the physical book and can look up other stuff from the book online during games.)
