Kick-Ass DVD Art and Specs are well...Kick-Ass!

I loved the movie and it has Matt Vaughn audio commentary on the non Blu-Ray version so it's a must buy for me. I think the box art is awesome too.

Awesome! This may be one of my first BluRay purchases! I only got a player recently.

I've been holding out on buying movies because I don't have the ability to upgrade to Blu-Ray yet and I don't want to buy a film that would benefit from blu-ray only to re-buy it in a few years. However, considering a combo-pack is going to be released with this, I'm enticed to buy the blu-ray for this.

Edit: After reading some more, apparently this is the extended edition that was rumored to be happening.

I'll pick up the blu ray since I missed it in theaters, but I don't see what's so "kick ass" about the cover art. Four faces, big whoop. Looks like the current A-Team poster to me...

There were some aspects I much preferred in the comic to what was in the film, but overall I enjoyed it a lot, especially whenever Hit Girl was on screen. So I shall probably be picking this up when it comes out

^ Yeah, the book was much more nihilistic, which I kinda liked. However, I realize that would not have worked for a main-stream movie, so don't mind that they changed it.

I didn't mind the creative changes made to the movie while still remaining faithful and capturing the sense and emotion of the comic book (Scott Pilgrim Vs The World does this as well to some extent apparently). The box art advertises the four main characters in a way that I don't think is lame, it's more "Brady Bunch" than "A-Team" there was a father his name was Marcus...he lost his wife to a corrupt mob boss, then Marcus conditioned and trained his little girl Mindy...and together they became Big Daddy and Hit Girl!!! Big Daddy and Hit Girl! (sang very badly and LOUD to the Brady Bunch theme song)
