Chronicling Khan's time on Ceti Alpha V, the scripted podcast is written by long-time TrekBBSers @David Mack and Kristen Beyer from a story by Nicholas Meyer, writer and director of Star Trek II.

I wonder if they will use the 1996 backstory for Khan from "Space Seed"or the late 2020s backstory from "Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow"?

That's a great star to the cast, and awesome writers, so I'm definitely looking forward to this. Now I guess I need to get working on To Reign in Hell and Ruling in Hell, so I can compare the different versions of Prime Khan's time on Ceti Alpha V.

Because it's a streaming release, I guess, and that's the terminology that's taken hold for such things. Once, it would've been called a radio play.

That hasn't been announced yet. All we have so far is "later this year," and with Realm acting as distributor, it will likely be a multiplatform release. I’d expect most major podcast aggregators will offer it. I also don’t know if they’ll drop all nine episodes at once, or if they’ll debut them week by week. We’ll have to wait and see.
