Ken Dodd has died

Veteran British entertainer Ken Dodd has died at the age of 90. Guess most Who fans will really only know him from Delta and the Bannermen in which he played the Tollmaster.

I never really saw the appeal until I caught a documentary about him maybe 15 years ago on a wet afternoon. Then I realised his absolute brilliance. 90 is a good innings - RIP.

Met the guy on a few occasions, once upon a time I actually dated someone who lived down the road from him. He really was the person you see on stage and it's a sad loss, but hardly a surprise.
