Hull: Yes, the Pegasus Mercury 9.

Nacelles: Crappy old highlighter pens.
Nacelle mounts: a bit of TIE fighter, a bit of Slave 1.

Great work. Wish I had the skill and patience so many here seem to have. :techman:

I think that if there were any visual sources for the first or second generation of warp-capable Klingon warships, this would be it. The rocket thrusters suggest to me a considerably primitive technology, compared to that of the K'tinga and B'rel for example.

I was iffy on the rocket nozzles - I wanted to do some odd-shaped impulse vents to fit those half-moon recesses, but those damn nozzles just looked too cool.

It's like the Russians were building stuff for the Klingons. Or perhaps the other way 'round.

Excellent.

This is really really very cool. I think it works perfectly as an early Klingon cruiser (before they went crazy with that jagged triangle stuff). Great color scheme and weathering too.

(Where's Madman? We need a Blender version :))

Still here. :)

I just added it to my To-Do folder... if it's OK with Forbin, of course. :) Looks like an interesting couple of day diversion. :)
