I think Froot hasn't been on in an even longer amount of time, unless she's moved accounts, but no I am alive just been jumping fandoms like crazy. (i haven't even had time to see the new trek movie, but i'm still unsure about seeing it at all from all i've heard)

Thats exactly the picture I was thinking of, though in fairness, Scott Bakula certainly hasn't randomly gotten fan or anything.
Avery Brooks on the other hand, while not overtly fat, is obviously gaining a few pounds; certainly not to the extreme of Shanter and Mulgrew, but its noticeable.
Clearly, if you threw all 5 captains on a Tough Mudder course, Patrick Stewart would easily win it, Scott might pull through and Shanter would easily die after a few steps.
I entertain myself thinking how well Mulgrew or Brooks would do against each other.
I'm pretty sure they mean the same thing. And I am probably one of the few quite repulsed by Cumberbatch's looks, couldn't even watch Sherlock because of initial overwhelming repulsion.
Pine is looking pretty great in ST:XII though.. older, hunkier..
When I saw him a couple years ago he was downright scrawny.

as people get older they gain weight, who here hasn't?
having met him in person, Patrick stewart is incredibly slim, he might just have one of those body types, be one of those lucky people that has a great metabolism.
I hate when people give someone a hard time for gaining a little weight

All the pictures I see of him these days suggest he has a belly, not a huge one, certainly not keg sized, but certainly enough to point out he let himself go. He seems really good at wearing the right clothing to hide it and sucking it in though! He's certainly not blubbery.

But then it could have just been grabbed as part of the show..Because it is from the scene, I think, where Red is checking the veggies by the truck and Mendez is leaving with his stuff in tow....He turns around and looks at her and she winks....

At 68, no one is in the shape Patrick Stewart is without working at it. He's not only slim, he's visibly fit.
