Karen G on Ferguson Jul 26/Matt Jul 29

Or the La Brea Tar Pits.

Especially if she said she wanted to go swimming there or something. Not as silly as one might think as there are many spas that use things like volcanic mud treatments and the like - I could see someone mistaking La Brea Tar Pits for a spa if they only know the name! ;)

Truth be told, it wouldn't surprise me if "Mud Spas" popped up in the area and capitalized on that misconception. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if there are some "Hot Spings" Spas that have popped up (Real Hot Springs or not)

I just saw a clip of the opening of the first Paris episode - and they use the TARDIS dematerialization sound effect to depict Craig "magically" transporting from his studio in Hollywood to Paris. After all these shoutouts, Moffat better give him a cameo somewhere! I'm sure there's a Judoon episode coming before long! ;)

Dang, at this rate, Craig Ferguson not only deserves a guest shot on the show, he almost rates Companion status :bolian:

I'd love to see Craig bag a guest appearance on DW - it would go down well on both sides of the pond!

Acting job, definitely. He's done good work elsewhere. I also hear he's a hell of a writer (a writer friend of mine was very impressed with his books), so if they don't want to put him on camera maybe BBC Books can snag him to write a Doctor Who novel or something.

Don't be surprised to see his name pop up on the "who should play the 12th Doctor" lists, too. With Kristen Bell as his companion, of course (I'd suggest Geoff, but we already had one of those companions - he was called Kamelion). And by all accounts he worked just as well as Geoff!
