Local comic book/popular culture convention here in town that's gotten bigger and bigger every year is going to have a cast-reunion of the The Next Generation next year!

The only exception being Patrick Stewart who could not attend due to a scheduling conflict.

Nice.

Last year's Wizard show in Austin had a TNG reunion, with Patrick Stewart, Jonathan Frakes, LeVar Burton, Brent Spiner, Michael Dorn, Gates McFadden, Wil Wheaton & Marina Sirtis. I wanted to get a cast photo signed, but the con's schedule & my work schedule wasn't workin' out, so I settled on just a signed 8x10 from Burton, since he was the only one there that first day that I hadn't met before.

I'm taking the weekend off and am going to every day of this event it's going to be a mad house! Hell, it already was one last year!

First time I went to this cone was three years ago and it was held in a smaller convention hall in the suburbs where I am, this past March it moved to large convention hall downtown which is where it's being held again in March. It keeps growing and growing and after how it was this year, man, I can't imagine what it's going to be like this time!

Well, hope ya have fun. :)

The joint Q&A with Marina Sirtis & Gates McFadden ("Ladies of Star Trek: TNG") was the highlight of my day at the Wizard con.

The cast sure has a lot of reunions. It kinda ruins the novelty of having them in the same room. Eventually they're just gonna tell the same anecdotes.
